Role Overview:
Jay Robotix is a leading company in the Robotics Education and Technology sector. We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile HR Executive/Manager to lead our complete talent life cycle. This role is crucial for scaling our specialized teams, particularly those involved in product development and high-quality training delivery.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment for niche technical and functional roles, as well as developing and implementing compliant and effective employee policies to foster a positive, productive, and growth-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition (Recruitment)
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- Sourcing Specialized Talent: Proactively source, screen, and interview candidates for highly specialized roles, viz:
- Trainers / Master Trainers (Robotics, STEM Education)
- Embedded Engineers (Hardware/Software)
- Content Developers (Curriculum & Technical Documentation)
- Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Sales Executives
- Other support roles (IT, Admin, Marketing).
- Employer Branding: Enhance Jay Robotix presence on job portals (like Indeed), social media, and professional networks to attract top talent in the technology and education space.
- Onboarding & Induction: Design and execute a smooth onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they are integrated into the company culture and understand core policies.
2. Policy Development & Employee Management
- Policy Creation & Implementation: Research, draft, and enforce essential company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws. This includes:
- Leave and Attendance Management Policy
- Performance Management/Appraisal Policy
- Training and Development Policy
- Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Policy
- Employee Handbook creation.
- HR Operations: Manage HR documentation, maintain accurate employee records (physical and digital), and oversee HRIS/HR software data.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and feedback. Foster a culture of open communication and engagement.
- Performance & Development: Coordinate performance appraisal cycles and identify training needs for staff development (especially technical upskilling).
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in HR, with a strong focus on recruitment for technical or niche roles (e.g., IT, Engineering, Training/Education).
- Solid understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance (e.g., PF, ESIC, Gratuity).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft professional policies and job descriptions.
- Proficiency in using job portals (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Comprehensive Accounts Knowledge: A strong background or understanding of general accounting principles. This ability to assist with diverse administrative and finance tasks is a significant advantage.
- Experience working in a Tech, Ed-Tech, or Education-focused company.
