Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role based in Surat for a Human Resources Manager at a growing textile company specializing in e-commerce marketplace operations. The HR Manager will lead and manage the HR function while supporting a dynamic workforce involved in textile production, order fulfillment, e-commerce operations, and customer service.

The role involves overseeing end-to-end recruitment, building strong HR processes, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations relevant to manufacturing and e-commerce environments. The HR Manager will focus on employee relations, performance management, training, and cultural development to support business growth across online marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR department and oversee HR operations for production, warehouse, office, and e-commerce teams.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for roles across textile production, quality control, marketplace operations, and support functions.
  • Develop and implement HR policies tailored to a manufacturing + e-commerce business setup.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, factory regulations, and workplace safety norms.
  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, attendance/shift management, and disciplinary processes.
  • Drive performance management, goal setting, and appraisal processes.
  • Implement training programs focused on workplace skills, safety, leadership, and e-commerce operational efficiency.
  • Support workforce planning and succession planning for key operational roles.
  • Collaborate with management to align HR strategies with business objectives and operational needs, especially for marketplace growth (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.).
  • Maintain and improve HRIS systems, employee records, payroll coordination, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Onboarding, especially for manufacturing and e-commerce roles.
  • Knowledge of Employment Laws, Factory Compliance, and HR Policies relevant to textile and warehouse operations.
  • Strong skills in Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, and Workforce Management.
  • Experience in Performance Management, Skill Development, and Succession Planning.
  • Ability to design and deliver Training & Development programs for diverse teams (production, warehouse, e-commerce operations).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software, HRIS tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a textile / manufacturing / e-commerce company is highly preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
