Hospitality HR Manager – Job Description

Job Title: HR Manager – Hospitality

Job Summary

The HR Manager will oversee all human resource functions within the hospitality operation, with a strong focus on

compliance, POSH implementation, SOP development, and employee engagement. The role is responsible for

setting up end-to-end HR processes, policies, and statutory frameworks while supporting a service-oriented

workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for hotel staff across departments.

- Coordinate manpower planning with department heads.

- Handle onboarding, induction, and probation confirmation.

- Develop, implement, and maintain HR SOPs, policies, and process documentation.

- Lead POSH compliance including committee formation, policy drafting, training, and case handling.

- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and hospitality regulations.

- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and counseling.

- Drive employee engagement, retention initiatives, and workplace culture programs.

- Identify training needs and conduct POSH, behavioral, and service excellence training.

- Implement performance management systems and appraisal processes.

- Oversee payroll coordination, attendance, leave management, and HR audits.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Strong experience in hospitality HR operations

- Expert knowledge of POSH Act and compliance implementation

- Hands-on experience in drafting HR SOPs, manuals, and policies

- Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

- Conflict management and employee counseling

- Strong understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance

- Ability to manage 24/7 hospitality workforce environments

- Experience with HRMS, payroll, and compliance systems

Qualifications

MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent with 6–10 years of HR experience, preferably in hospitality or service industry.

POSH certification preferred.

Reporting To: General Manager / Corporate HR Head

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
