HR Manager

Job description:

The human resource manager comes up with various programs that will help in the compensation, evaluation and retention of employees within the organization. The main objective of a human resource job is to provide the best possible working environment for employees within an organization. In our company, the human resources manager may be responsible for all human resources operations, but, more often, he manages a department of employees who may individually, or as a group, fulfill the various responsibilities of the department.

1. Holding the responsibility of forecasting the labor requirement of the organization in the future based on the future level of sales/production level of the organization. The labor forecast may identify the need for need for hiring or firing employees.

2. HR manager is responsible of motivating employees to carry out their duties of a timely and accurate basis

3. Assessment of employee performance works in both the company's and the employees. Evaluation on the performances of the employees based on performance appraisal systems.

4. Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.

5. Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.

6. Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of personnel problems and develop recommendations for improvement of organization's personnel policies and practices.

7. Employee Relations managing absence, discipline, grievances, sickness etc. Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement. Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills

8. In conjunction with the Head of HR, ensure all company policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law. Ensure all managers are up to date with changes to any policies.

9. Checking and approving all the forms related with employee vacation, advances, salaries, leaves, emergencies, change of duty timings, designation change, promotions, transfers, new employees joining, commissions, payroll, etc.

10. Controlling and coordinating with all HR related works.

11. Handling quarterly evaluation and selection of the best employee’s with cooperation and coordination with the managers.

12. Sending reports on all official work related to the HR to the concerned personnel’s and top management for verification and background support.

  • Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team.
  • Ability to represent the Human Resource function as part of the bigger business picture
  • Confident in directing HR and advising managers on all aspects of people management and development.
  • Strong understanding of employment law
  • A professional and commercial approach to HR, with the ability to deliver high employee satisfaction, appropriate development and reward for individuals.
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities.
