Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to oversee and manage all human resources functions for our company based in JAFZA (Jebel Ali Free Zone). The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE labor law and JAFZA regulations and will play a key role in supporting employees while aligning HR strategies with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Compliance
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and exit processes
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and JAFZA Free Zone regulations
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR reports
2. HR Planning & Policy Management
- Plan, organize, and control HR department activities
- Develop HR goals, systems, and initiatives
- Draft, update, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- Recommend and implement new HR policies and improvements
3. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
- Develop, review, and manage compensation and benefits programs
- Conduct salary surveys and benchmarking
- Prepare and monitor salary budgets
- Coordinate payroll preparation based on employee data
- Manage employee benefits and final settlements
4. Recruitment & Employee Lifecycle
- Oversee recruitment activities, including job descriptions and job postings
- Conduct new employee orientation and employee counseling
- Manage performance support and exit interviews
5. Training & Development
- Assess training needs and implement training programs
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness
6. Administration & Documentation
- Maintain organizational charts, company directory, and HR documentation
- Manage leave administration and attendance records
7. Insurance, Licenses & Renewals
- Manage company insurance policies (medical, workmen’s compensation, and other corporate insurances)
- Coordinate license, lease, and certificate renewals
- Monitor expiry of permits and documents issued by government authorities
8. Other Responsibilities
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Management in line with the role
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a Free Zone or lubricant manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an HR Manager in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labor Law and JAFZA regulations
- Experience handling JAFZA visas, labor cards, and employee documentation
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive matters professionally
- Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems
