Role Overview

We are looking for a versatile HR Manager who thrives in a startup environment and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. You will be responsible for building the talent pipeline across marketing, creative, media buying, content, and operations — while also setting up people processes, culture, and compliance frameworks.

This is a foundational role, and the right candidate will play a critical part in shaping Scrubsy’s growth journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Talent Acquisition & Hiring

- Build and own the end-to-end hiring pipeline across roles: media buyers, content strategists, creatives, performance marketers, supply-chain/ops.

- Develop sourcing strategies to attract top digital/D2C talent via job boards, networks, and

referrals.

- Drive efficient screening, assessments, and selection processes suited for startup speed.

- People Operations & Culture

- Design and implement HR policies, SOPs, and best practices aligned with D2C and digital-first

teams.

- Ensure smooth onboarding, engagement, and retention practices.

- Partner with leadership to create a culture of accountability, ownership, and growth.

- Performance & Development

- Work with founders to set up OKRs and review mechanisms.

- Identify training needs and enable professional development across teams.

- Support team leads in building scalable org structures.

- Compliance & Administration

- Manage HR documentation, contracts, payroll coordination, and labor law compliance.

- Handle employee relations and grievance management proactively.

Desired Skills & Qualifications -

- 3–6 years of HR experience, ideally in a digital-first, high-growth D2C/startup environment.

- Strong track record of hiring for niche roles such as media buyers, content teams, and growth

marketing.

- Hands-on with HR operations, compliance, and policy setup.

- Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and build trust across teams.

- Comfortable working in an unstructured, high-velocity startup ecosystem.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹1,500,000.00 per year
