HR Officer

Doha, Qatar

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, screening applications, conducting interviews, and facilitating selection processes.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and job specifications.
  • Maintain and update a pool of qualified candidates for current and future needs.
  • Onboarding
  • Coordinate and oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the organization.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and provide new hires with necessary resources, tools, and company information.
  • Monitor probationary periods and provide feedback to ensure successful assimilation.
  • Performance Evaluation
  • Implement and maintain performance management systems.
  • Support managers and employees in setting performance goals and conducting periodic evaluations.
  • Provide training and guidance on effective feedback and performance improvement plans.
  • Payroll Administration
  • Prepare and process monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Disciplinary and Judiciary File Management
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and investigations in accordance with company policies and legal standards.
  • Maintain and manage records of disciplinary actions and judiciary matters securely and accurately.
  • Provide advice to management on employee relations and legal compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR Officer or similar role.
  • Knowledge of Qatar labor laws, payroll systems, and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with integrity.
