HR officer

About Us

We are a growing small group of companies operating across multiple sectors in Qatar. As our workforce continues to expand, we are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Officer to manage and strengthen our HR function across the group.

This role is primarily HR-focused, with minimal administrative responsibilities.

The Role

The HR Officer will oversee the full employee lifecycle and act as the primary point of contact for all HR matters across the group. You will ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, support management in employee relations matters, and help foster a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

Core HR Responsibilities :

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with Qatar Labour Law
  • Handle employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance processes
  • Support performance management and employee development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate HR records and oversee HR systems
  • Manage leave, attendance, and absence monitoring
  • Coordinate payroll preparation and liaise with finance/payroll teams
  • Oversee visa processing, employment contracts, and compliance documentation
  • Support workforce planning and HR reporting
  • Promote employee engagement and retention initiatives

Administrative Support :

  • Prepare HR documentation, letters, and contracts
  • Maintain organized personnel files and HR records
  • Small procurement tasks for office supplies
  • Contacting suppliers and clients when needed for contracts or payment
  • schedule with staff for things like ( needed assets purchases, getting water supplies, pest control......ETC) mainly petty tasks for office support and maintenance.

About You

  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and HR best practices
  • Experience managing recruitment and employee relations independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification is an added bonus
