HSE Officer

Job Title: HSE Officer
Salary Range: QAR 2,500 – 3,500 (Based on experience and performance)

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor, and enforce company HSE policies, site-specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
• Conduct regular site and workshop inspections to identify hazards and perform risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage and control PTW systems for high-risk activities such as hot work, work at height, confined space entry, and electrical isolation.
• Deliver HSE inductions and toolbox talks, and provide continuous on-site safety guidance to employees and subcontractors.
• Supervise high-risk operations including lifting activities, scaffolding, cutting and grinding, painting, electrical works, and other hazardous tasks.
• Inspect personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure compliance, proper maintenance, and valid inspection records.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases; prepare comprehensive reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Review subcontractor HSE plans, verify certifications and competencies, and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HSE documentation including inspection reports, PTW registers, induction records, MSDS, incident reports, and NCRs.
• Coordinate emergency response preparedness, including fire drills, evacuation procedures, first aid readiness, and liaison with emergency services.
• Ensure proper housekeeping standards, safe access and egress, adequate safety signage, and effective environmental controls such as dust, VOC, noise, and waste management.
• Monitor and maintain safety compliance records for machinery and equipment across group companies, ensuring timely inspections and adherence to safety regulations.

Required Certifications:

• NEBOSH IGC and/or IOSH Managing Safely
• First Aid and Fire Safety Certification (or equivalent)

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
