Job Description: Assistant Manager / Manager – HR
Location: Thane
Work Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Weekly Off: 1st & 3rd Saturday Off
Role Overview
The Assistant Manager / Manager – HR will lead and manage core HR operations across the entire employee lifecycle. The role focuses on delivering a seamless employee experience, ensuring compliance, strengthening HR processes, managing grievances, and supporting payroll, performance management, and learning initiatives. This position requires a people-centric, detail-oriented professional who can maintain smooth HR operations and partner effectively with employees and leadership.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations
- Oversee onboarding, joining formalities, documentation, and HRMS updates.
- Manage employee ID creation, confirmation processes, and exit procedures.
- Maintain updated employee records, organizational charts, and HR databases.
- Ensure adherence to HR policies, statutory requirements, and compliance norms.
2. Grievance Handling
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee issues and concerns.
- Address queries promptly, professionally, and with confidentiality.
- Escalate critical or unresolved matters to HR leadership for intervention.
3. Performance Management System (PMS)
- Support the end-to-end performance appraisal cycle and ensure timely execution.
- Coordinate goal-setting, mid-year reviews, annual evaluations, and feedback processes.
- Maintain PMS dashboards, trackers, and evaluation data for reporting.
4. Learning & Development
- Identify training needs in collaboration with department heads.
- Coordinate internal and external training initiatives.
- Track participation, feedback, and overall training effectiveness.
5. Payroll Support
- Provide accurate attendance, leave data, and compensation changes for payroll processing.
- Assist with statutory compliance documentation (PF, ESIC, PT, etc.).
- Verify monthly payroll inputs to ensure accuracy and prevent errors.
6. Employee Experience & MIS
- Prepare HR dashboards, MIS reports, and monthly HR analytics.
- Plan and execute engagement activities, celebrations, and cultural events.
- Contribute to building a positive work culture and employee-centric environment.

- Practical knowledge of CTC structure, payroll processes, and labour laws

- Proficiency in Google Sheets and HRMS platforms

- Willingness to travel Pan India when required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹950,000.00 per year
