Horizon Tech is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced HR Operations Executive to join our dynamic HR team. This role involves handling core HR operations across multiple divisions, including BPO, IT, and Software Development. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end HR processes, support employee engagement initiatives, and ensure smooth coordination across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end HR processes, including onboarding, induction, attendance tracking, leave management, employee documentation, and exit formalities.
- Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Manage HR documentation related to the employee life cycle (promotions, transfers, confirmations, terminations).
- Support payroll processing and coordinate closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including health insurance and statutory compliance.
- Support HR policies, procedures, and compliance implementation.Address employee queries professionally and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Plan and execute employee engagement programs and workplace culture initiatives.
- Support employee relations activities and assist in conflict resolution where required.
- Coordinate with internal teams and management to support HR initiatives.
- Draft HR letters, reports, notices, and internal communications.
- Prepare presentations for HR initiatives, management reporting, training sessions, and policy updates.
- Assist in reviewing and improving HR processes and documentation.
Technical Skills:
MS Excel (Strong Proficiency Required):
- Create and manage large datasets and HR reports.
- Use formulas such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF.
- Prepare pivot tables, charts, and dashboards for HR analytics.
- Perform payroll, attendance, and HR metric calculations.
MS Word:
- Draft HR documents, policies, employee letters, and official communications.
- Strong formatting skills including tables, templates, and mail merge.
PowerPoint:
- Create professional presentations for management reporting, training, and HR metrics.
Google Sheets:
- Confident use of formulas, collaborative reporting, and data management.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1.5 to 2.5 years of strong HR experience.
- Hands-on experience in HR operations, onboarding, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee documentation.
- Experience in payroll processing and employee benefits management.
- Basic understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance (EPF, ESI, etc.) is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR software or HRIS systems is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports and professional presentations.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
