Job Title: HR – Payroll & MIS Executive

Experience: 2 – 3 Years, Location: Chennai

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Management:

  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  • Manage salary calculations, allowances, deductions, reimbursements, and bonuses.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure reconciliation of salary accounts.
  • Coordinate with finance for salary disbursement, TDS, and other statutory deductions.

HR Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws including PF, ESI, Gratuity, LWF, and Professional Tax.
  • Prepare and submit statutory returns on time.
  • Maintain records of employment contracts, policies, and HR documentation.
  • Assist in audits and inspections by statutory authorities.

Data Management & Handling:

  • Collect, organize, and maintain accurate employee and HR-related data.
  • Perform data cleaning, validation, and updating to ensure consistency and integrity.
  • Maintain HR databases, spreadsheets, and other digital repositories.
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all employee data.

MIS Reporting:

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc HR and payroll MIS reports for management review.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and actionable insights.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, HR compliance, and labor laws.
  • Hands-on experience with HRMS/Payroll software.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts) and reporting tools.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
