HR & Recruitment Specialist / Project Manager – Truck Dispatch

Company Overview

We are a startup truck dispatch company connecting owner operators and fleets with profitable freight. To commence our operations, we need a dual focused leader to build our dispatch team while driving key operational projects.

Role Summary

You will wear two hats:

1. Talent Acquisition – Recruit, vet, and onboard qualified truck dispatchers and sales agents.

2. Project Management – Lead initiatives such as software rollouts, carrier setup processes, or driver retention programs.

Key Responsibilities

A. HR & Recruitment (40%)

· Full cycle recruiting for dispatchers, Sales agents, and support staff.

· Source candidates from industry specific platforms (e.g., Indeed, LinkedIn, trucking forums, dispatching platforms).

· Conduct skills assessments (load board proficiency, negotiation simulations, DAT/ Truckstop.com knowledge).

· Manage onboarding: background checks.

· Develop a dispatcher scorecard and performance review cadence.

· Build a talent pipeline for peak hiring seasons (Q3/Q4).

B. Project Management (60%)

· Lead projects to improve dispatch efficiency:

· New software implementation (CRM, TMS, or dialer systems).

· Carrier onboarding workflow – reduce time from application to active dispatching.

· Driver retention initiative – track metrics, coordinate with owner operators.

· Create project plans, assign tasks to dispatchers, and track performance.

· Run weekly project standups and report status to leadership.

· Identify bottlenecks in dispatch to broker communication and propose automated solutions.

Required Qualifications

Graduation (MGT/IT etc.)

Area Must Have

Recruitment 1+ years recruiting for trucking or IT project/operational roles

Dispatch knowledge Familiar with DAT, Truckstop.com, rate negotiations, and broker protocols

Project management Experience

Soft skills ability to reject unqualified candidates professionally; calm under deadline pressure

Preferred (Nice to Have)

· Prior work at a dispatch service, freight brokerage, or fleet.

· Experience with performance-based commission structures for dispatchers.

Success Metrics (First 60 Days)

· Hiring: 6 qualified dispatchers and 2 Sales agents hired and ramped.

· Retention: 90% dispatcher retention after 30 days.

· Projects: Launch dispatch services effectively

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: PKR 70K – 200K + commission/bonus on dispatcher performance or project completion.

· Growth: Path to Head of Operations.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
