Truck Dispatcher

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, coordinating with drivers, communicating with brokers and shippers, and securing profitable loads for our fleet.

The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of the US trucking industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and manage company trucks efficiently.
• Search and book profitable loads using load boards.
• Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers.
• Maintain strong communication with drivers throughout their trips.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules.
• Monitor drivers and track shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle rate confirmations, BOLs, PODs, and other required documents.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with brokers and shippers.
• Resolve operational issues and provide timely solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of loads, drivers, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standard US trucking procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Truck Dispatcher for the US Trucking Industry.
• Strong knowledge of the US trucking market and freight operations.
• Experience with load boards such as DAT, Truckstop, or similar platforms.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant dispatching software.
