About the Role
The HR Specialist plays a central role in ensuring a consistent, compliant, and positive employee experience. Working closely with branch leaders, field teams, and corporate departments, this position provides expertise in HR operations, talent processes, and regulatory readiness. It is an ideal opportunity for an HR professional who is detail-oriented, proactive, and energized by both people and process improvement.

What You Will Do
  • Partner with leaders and employees on compliance matters and HR best practices.
  • Support talent acquisition and onboarding by guiding hiring teams through UKG workflows, resolving issues, and auditing new hire documentation.
  • Manage compliance requirements such as I-9 reverifications, licenses, and certifications, and assist with survey readiness.
  • Coordinate off-boarding activities, including updating systems, issuing termination letters, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Generate and analyze HR data reports for leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Support leaders with performance management and employee relations processes.
  • Respond to employee and management inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Contribute to HR team objectives and projects that strengthen operations and culture.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred; PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
  • At least three years of HR experience, ideally within healthcare or a regulated environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; UKG experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and compliance practices.
  • Ability to build trust across diverse teams and maintain discretion with confidential information.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
