Job Title: HR Specialist
Industry: Restaurants Group
Location: Al Ain, UAE
Reports To: HR Manager

Job Summary

The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing and supporting all human resources functions across the restaurant group, ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law, company policies, and best HR practices. This role supports recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, performance management, and staff welfare across multiple restaurant outlets.

Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for restaurant and head office roles.
  • Liaise with recruitment agencies and manage interview scheduling.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documentation.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction for new hires.

HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR systems.
  • Manage attendance, leave records, and staff rosters coordination with operations.
  • Support payroll preparation and verify attendance, overtime, and deductions.
  • Handle staff confirmations, promotions, transfers, and exits.

Compliance & Labour Law

  • Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies.
  • Manage visa processes including MOL, immigration, Emirates ID, and medicals.
  • Handle contract renewals, terminations, gratuity calculations, and final settlements.
  • Prepare HR reports and documentation for audits or inspections.

Employee Relations

  • Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters professionally.
  • Support managers in performance management and corrective actions.
  • Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture.

Performance & Training Support

  • Assist with performance appraisals and KPI tracking.
  • Coordinate staff training, certifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Support HR initiatives related to staff retention and development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years HR experience, preferably in restaurants or hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and visa processes.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office.
