To support our continued growth and expanding product portfolio, we are seeking an HR Specialist who will play a critical role in the employee experience at TMC.


Summary

The HR Specialist supports the Human Resources function across a wide range of responsibilities, including payroll administration, recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration This role is hands-on and people-focused, requiring the ability to balance day-to-day operational needs with building relationships that foster trust and accountability.


The HR Specialist plays a key role in ensuring HR processes run smoothly, supporting managers and employees, and advancing TMC’s mission to provide a best-in-class employee experience while sustaining a high-performance culture.


Key Responsibilities


Payroll & Benefits Administration

  • Maintain employee records in BambooHR, including compensation updates, deductions, and premiums.
  • Help Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, 401k, voluntary benefits).
  • Support annual open enrollment and employee education on benefit options.
  • Manage PTO, leaves of absence, and other time-off programs in compliance with TMC policy and legal requirements.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Partner with managers and recruiters to coordinate job postings, interviews, and candidate communication.
  • Facilitate pre-employment processes (background checks, drug screens, etc.).
  • Manage onboarding tasks and orientation to ensure a welcoming experience.

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Support open enrollment, benefits questions, and day-to-day benefits administration.
  • Administer PTO, FMLA, leaves of absence, and other time-off requests in compliance with company policy and legal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of HR experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and employment laws.
  • Experience with HRIS (BambooHR preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
