HR Specialist

Location: Horseheads, NY
Pay: $22–$24 per hour
Schedule: Full-time

Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and dependable HR Specialist to support the Human Resources function across our growing family of manufacturing companies.

This role will primarily assist with recruiting coordination, onboarding support, and general HR administrative processes, helping ensure that hiring and HR operations run smoothly. The HR Specialist will work closely with the HR Supervisor and leadership team to support day-to-day HR activities and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Hiring Support

  • Assist with job postings and applicant tracking
  • Coordinate candidate communication and interview scheduling
  • Support hiring managers and HR with candidate flow and recruiting logistics

Onboarding & Documentation

  • Assist with new hire onboarding and paperwork
  • Maintain employee files and HR documentation
  • Help ensure employment records are organized and up to date

HR Administrative Support

  • Assist with general HR processes and internal communication
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the HR department

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of administrative, HR, or recruiting experience preferred
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

Compensation: $22–$24 per hour, based on experience
