The HR/Technical Recruitment Trainee supports the recruitment team in finding and hiring technical talent (software engineers, IT specialists) while learning general HR processes. This role is crucial for managing the initial steps of the candidate lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sourcing: Proactively search for potential candidates through various channels like LinkedIn, Job Portals, and internal databases.
  • Screening: Review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate candidates' communication skills, salary expectations, and technical skills.
  • Coordination: Schedule interviews between candidates and technical managers/hiring managers.
  • Database Management: Keep the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) updated with accurate candidate records.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in preparing onboarding materials and introducing new hires to the work environment.
  • Administrative Tasks: Support the HR team with administrative duties, such as drafting emails, posting job ads, and handling confidential information.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Computer Science.
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Technical Savvy: Basic understanding of IT fundamentals and comfort with professional networking tools.
  • Communication: Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Attitude: Strong desire to learn, high energy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive employee information ethically.
