Job Title: HR Trainee
Department: Human Resources
Location: Location Close to MG Road Metro Station
Reports To: HR Manager / HR Business Partner
Employment Type: Internship (with PPO Opportunity)

Position Overview

The HR Trainee will support the Human Resources department in day-to-day operations, gaining hands-on experience across various HR functions. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build a strong foundation in HR practices such as recruitment, employee engagement, onboarding, HR administration, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Selection

  • Assist with job postings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate candidate communication and maintain applicant databases.
  • Participate in interview rounds when required.

2. Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Support the onboarding process, including documentation, induction planning, and HRIS data entry.
  • Help manage exit procedures, collect feedback, and ensure smooth transitions.

3. HR Operations & Administration

  • Maintain employee records and update HR systems regularly.
  • Assist in preparing HR letters, reports, and documentation.
  • Support payroll inputs (attendance, leave records, etc.) if required.

4. Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Assist in planning employee engagement activities, events, and recognition programs.
  • Support internal communication efforts to promote company culture.

5. Learning & Development

  • Help coordinate training programs, collect feedback, and track attendance.
  • Support development initiatives and maintain training records.

6. Compliance & Policies

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local labor laws.
  • Assist with audits, policy reviews, and documentation as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in HR.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and labor laws (preferred, not mandatory).

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher, Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
