HR/Admin Manager

Job Summary:

The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all Human Resource functions to ensure smooth and efficient operations of the dealership. This role involves developing and implementing HR strategies, managing talent acquisition, ensuring compliance with labor laws, employee engagement, and fostering a positive and performance-driven workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Staffing

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for all dealership positions (Sales, Service, Admin, etc.).
  • Identify manpower requirements and develop job descriptions for each role.
  • Source, screen, interview, and onboard candidates within defined timelines.
  • Develop strategies to reduce attrition and improve retention.

2. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain employee records and HRMS data accurately.
  • Ensure adherence to all labor laws, dealership policies, and statutory compliances (PF, ESIC, gratuity, etc.).
  • Handle payroll processing, leave management, and attendance tracking.
  • Draft and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and dealership-specific guidelines.

3. Training & Development

  • Identify training needs across departments and arrange skill development programs.
  • Coordinate with OEMs (Automobile Brand) for mandatory training sessions.
  • Implement performance management systems and conduct appraisals.

4. Employee Engagement & Culture Building

  • Plan and execute employee engagement activities, festivals, and team-building events.
  • Address employee grievances and maintain a healthy work environment.
  • Promote dealership values and ensure a disciplined, punctual, and productive culture.

5. Performance & Talent Management

  • Drive goal-setting, KPI monitoring, and performance reviews.
  • Assist in succession planning and leadership development.
  • Work closely with managers to improve employee productivity.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and statutory compliances.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS software, MS Office, and payroll systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of HR experience, preferably in the automobile dealership or retail/service industry.
  • Prior experience in managing a team will be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
