The HRIS Analyst ensures proper documentation, storage, retrieval, backup and reporting of Team Member records. This position communicates with other team members regarding needed paperwork or electronic transactions needed to complete Team Member records. The HRIS Analyst compiles historical data to create reports and graphs for analysis and management reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Maintains complete working knowledge of the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • Coordinates and maintains all Team Member reporting in the HRIS, to include entering new hires, transfers, terminations, performance reviews, address changes, leaves of absence and payroll updates.
  • Creates a positive and collaborative working relationship with all departments throughout the property and provides system training and assistance as needed.
  • Generates routine management reports and special reports as requested.
  • Composes and organizes monthly status reports.
  • Notifies appropriate departments of Team Member terminations, transfers, new hires, rehires, overdue information requests, upcoming reviews, and expiring licenses.
  • Responsible for making changes within all aspects of the HRIS operating systems, including Infinium administration.
  • Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in an ethical manner and encourages others to do the same.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

  • Associates’ Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An additional 4+ years of gaming experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills.
  • Ability to make informed decisions relating to data and statistics.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • A record of satisfactory performance and reliability in all prior and current employment as evidenced by positive employment references from previous and current employers.
  • The ability to maintain an established work schedule that provides on-call assistance.

Preferred

  • One year of administrative experience
  • Experience with or working knowledge of Human Resources Information System operations.
  • Working knowledge of human resources management principles and practices in Human Resources Information Systems.
  • PHR Certification

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino and be able lift up to 25 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds
  • Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk
  • Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including phones, personal computers, fax machines, and photo copiers
  • Must be able to work at a fast pace in stressful situations and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
