Title: HRIS Manager & NA Payroll Specialist

Location: Bangalore, Hybrid
Reports to: CHRO


About the Role:

CAI Software, an STG portfolio company, is a fast-growing, private equity–backed business at the forefront of ERP and process manufacturing solutions, is seeking to hire a HRIS Manager & North American Payroll Specialist that will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of our people operations. This position oversees the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of our HRIS platform while managing end-to-end payroll processing for employees across the U.S. and Canada. Partnering closely with HR, Finance, and IT, this role ensures seamless data integrity, timely payroll delivery, and compliance with regional employment and tax regulations. The ideal candidate combines technical HRIS expertise with strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills to drive operational excellence and enhance the employee experience.


Role Responsibilities:

UKG System Maintenance:

  • Maintain Data Integrity, UKG Pro data audit, employee file management, Kronos time management system, Udemy access management, third party integration maintenance.
  • Security administration for UKG through role administration and user administration.

Implementing new modules/projects/system changes and upgrades:

  • Implementation of different UKG modules like LMS, performance management, succession, coaching & development.
  • Modifying fields through working on Platform Configurations and business rules.
  • Setting up workflow structures for new and existing processes.
  • Setting up new organization structures across platforms for M&A’s and divestitures.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Setting up scheduled and running ad-hoc reports as and when required based out of Cognos & BI.
  • Running reports and notifications out of multiple systems and modules like Udemy, UKG LMS, time management systems.
  • Setting up alerts through event studio and dashboards.

Act as a Liaison:

  • Act as organizational contact for different systems with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Act as sole contact for 3rd party vendors like UKG, Udemy and play an active role regarding integrations with benefit providers and other vendors. Mitigate day to day issues by working with various teams, follow up on cases and service requests for changes/issues and upgradations.

North America payroll:

  • Run semi-monthly and weekly payroll for North America based companies through UKG.
  • Work with different teams to finalize input and process for payment. Set-up tax structures and earnings/deductions.
