Davila Homes, an award-winning luxury home building company based in Orlando, FL is seeking a highly trustworthy and dedicated HR/Recruiting Assistant who thrives in roles requiring confidentiality, discretion, and a strong commitment to fostering the people and culture of a company. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in human resources and recruitment, with at least 2 years of experience supporting HR operations and talent acquisition.

In this role, you will ensure a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and employees while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support

  • Assist in managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and follow-up.
  • Utilize sourcing methods across multiple channels, including LinkedIn, Indeed, and other social media/job platforms, to attract and engage qualified candidates.
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure candidate records are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate communication between candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels.
  • Support onboarding processes, including preparation of new hire paperwork and orientation materials.

HR Administration

  • Maintain employee files, records, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with processing HR documents such as employment contracts, status changes, and compliance reports.
  • Support benefit administration by assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of employee hours, pay changes, and deductions.
  • Prepare HR-related reports, including turnover, headcount, and recruitment metrics.

Employee Support & Engagement

  • Act as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating employee events, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives.
  • Support compliance with employment laws and internal HR policies.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in HR and Recruiting.
  • Experience in candidate sourcing, including use of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and recruitment processes.
  • Proficiency with HRIS/ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Previous recruiting experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred.
