A well-established nursing home facility is seeking a reliable, organized, and people-focused HR/Scheduler to join our team. This role supports our staff, ensures proper scheduling coverage, and helps maintain smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Create, manage, and update staff schedules for nursing and facility departments
Track call-outs and coordinate coverage in real time
Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and HR compliance
Maintain employee files and documentation
Support payroll accuracy by verifying attendance and schedules
Communicate efficiently with staff, leadership, and department heads
Ensure staffing levels comply with state regulations and facility needs
Prior experience in healthcare scheduling, HR, or staffing preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and adjust to staffing changes quickly
Computer proficiency (Excel, EMR, staffing software a plus)
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Reliable, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information
