A well-established nursing home facility is seeking a reliable, organized, and people-focused HR/Scheduler to join our team. This role supports our staff, ensures proper scheduling coverage, and helps maintain smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

HR/Scheduler Key Responsibilities

  • Create, manage, and update staff schedules for nursing and facility departments

  • Track call-outs and coordinate coverage in real time

  • Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and HR compliance

  • Maintain employee files and documentation

  • Support payroll accuracy by verifying attendance and schedules

  • Communicate efficiently with staff, leadership, and department heads

  • Ensure staffing levels comply with state regulations and facility needs

Qualifications for the HR/Scheduler

  • Prior experience in healthcare scheduling, HR, or staffing preferred

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and adjust to staffing changes quickly

  • Computer proficiency (Excel, EMR, staffing software a plus)

  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

  • Reliable, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information
