HSE Advisor (NEBOSH Certified)

Nafal Contracting & Trading Co. LLC is seeking experienced HSE Advisors to support and maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across our projects in Oman.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in HSE management within large-scale projects and a solid understanding of local regulations and ISO 45001 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on-site
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards (ISO 45001)
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and audits
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Deliver toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs
• Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation and records
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of HSE experience in Oman/GCC region
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the electrical field
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant discipline
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
• Proven experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and ISO 45001 standards
• Good communication and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• DCRP license (HSE category)
• Experience in Electrical, Marine, STP, or Civil projects
• Candidates currently based in Oman will be preferred
