HSE - Chemical Safety Engineer

NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health. Valid UAE-Driving license. Minimum of 10 in the HS&E field in industrial plants, oil fields, chemical industries or construction sites

Strong knowledge of:

• Chemical identification and classification (GHS, UN standards).
• COSHH assessment
• Chemical storage conditions and open yard storage regulations.
• Firefighting systems, emergency response, and risk management.
• Chemical incompatibilities and segregation practices.
• Waste management and disposal methods. o Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requirements.
• Common chemistry, Chemical Abstracts Service
• Chemical related RAKEZ, federal, local and international regulatory requirements. o
• PPE requirements and occupational health & safety standards
