HSE / Compliance Officer

The HSE & Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the organization complies with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on minimizing workplace risks, ensuring legal compliance, promoting a safety culture, and maintaining company standards in line with local and international regulations such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1*. Health & Safety*

• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct workplace risk assessments and hazard identification.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare detailed reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety laws.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Organize safety training and awareness programs.
• Monitor use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Maintain records of safety incidents and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Monitor waste management, emissions, and environmental impact.
• Implement environmental protection initiatives.
• Maintain environmental documentation and reporting.

2. Compliance & Regulatory

• Monitor changes in legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure company operations align with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate internal and external compliance audits.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain licenses, permits, and certifications.

3. Training & Awareness

• Conduct induction training for new employees.
• Provide ongoing compliance and safety training.
• Promote a positive safety culture within the organization.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification is Mandatory
• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in the manufacturing, pipe, or tube mill industry Or in training, education, consultancy, or research in Health & Safety capacity is Mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of machinery safety, hot work, lifting operations, and industrial hazards
• Good communication and reporting skills

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Experience:

• HSE in the manufacturing, pipe, or tube mill industry : 3 years (Required)
