The Mandate

Watchit FYI HR Services is executing an executive search on behalf of a leading infrastructure and industrial services conglomerate operating across the Sultanate. Based at the corporate hub in Airport Heights, we are securing an HSE Director to serve as the ultimate authority on health, safety, and environmental governance. In this executive-track role, you will take absolute ownership of the enterprise-wide HSE management system, driving a zero-harm safety culture across high-risk operational environments, large-scale construction sites, and corporate facilities.

Key Executive Directives * Design, deploy, and police the long-term corporate HSE strategy, ensuring flawless alignment with Oman Ministry of Labor mandates and international standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

• Lead comprehensive enterprise risk assessments, environmental impact studies, and structural hazard identifications to implement failsafe mitigation protocols.
• Oversee the investigation of all critical incidents, root-cause analyses, and regulatory reporting, translating findings into immediate corrective actions.
• Govern high-level safety training frameworks, emergency response simulations, and operational asset integrity audits across all regional divisions.
• Provide real-time safety intelligence, regulatory risk profiles, and sustainability performance metrics directly to the client's executive board and regulatory bodies.

Who Fits the Profile * 12 to 16 years of progressive health, safety, and environmental engineering experience, with at least 5 years serving in a definitive senior leadership or director-level capacity within heavy industry, construction, or logistics.

• Authoritative mastery of international HSE management systems, localized Omani regulatory frameworks, and environmental permitting processes.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale safety transformations and reducing Total Recordable Incident Rates (TRIR) across diversified workforces.
• A university degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or Engineering, backed by top-tier credentials such as a NEBOSH International Diploma or GradIOSH/CMIOSH status.
