About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HSE Officer with a solid background in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management, particularly within the Oil & Gas and Construction industries. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in HSE documentation, compliance, and risk management, and will play a key role in maintaining a safe working environment across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

HSE Compliance:

  • Ensure full compliance with UAE local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and safety protocols aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitoring to ensure adherence to HSE policies.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare, maintain, and review comprehensive HSE documentation including policies, procedures, risk assessments, audit reports, and incident reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of HSE training, certifications, and compliance documentation for all personnel.
  • Document and track incident reports, audits, and corrective actions.

Risk Management:

  • Conduct site-specific risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety hazards.
  • Implement measures to mitigate risks and ensure safe practices on-site.
  • Support management in developing and executing risk mitigation strategies.

Training & Awareness:

  • Lead HSE training sessions and safety awareness programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Promote a culture of safety, guiding staff on proper PPE usage, emergency procedures, and safe work practices.

Incident Management:

  • Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
  • Document findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
  • Follow up to ensure continuous improvement in HSE practices and protocols.

Site Inspections & Audits:

  • Conduct routine inspections and audits to monitor HSE compliance on project sites.
  • Report findings to senior management and assist in developing corrective action plans.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Collaborate with management to enhance HSE practices and performance.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to building a strong safety culture across all projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering with NEBOSH IGC certification.
  • Minimum 3+ years of HSE experience in the UAE, preferably within Oil & Gas or Construction sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
  • Proven experience in developing HSE documentation, conducting audits, and implementing safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication, training, and reporting skills.
