HSE engineer - Steel

We are seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to ensure safe working conditions across our steel fabrication and construction sites. The role involves implementing and monitoring HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce HSE procedures for fabrication, welding, lifting, and erection works.
• Conduct site inspections, JSAs, and safety audits.
• Monitor hot work, confined space, and working-at-height activities.
• Ensure PPE compliance and promote a strong safety culture.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate emergency drills and liaise with Civil Defense and Municipality teams.
• Maintain records of toolbox talks, safety trainings, and inspection reports.
• Support implementation of ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 systems.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with company HSE standards.
• Participate in project kick-off meetings and safety briefings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Safety).
• NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory).
• 3–7 years’ HSE experience in structural steel fabrication or erection.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and UAE safety regulations.
