Job Purpose
To ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site by monitoring activities, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE standards and project requirements
Monitor work activities and enforce safe work practices in line with company and client procedures
Identify hazards, perform risk assessments, and recommend corrective/preventive actions
Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment by all personnel
Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions for workers
Report and investigate incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions
Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and documentation
Ensure compliance with OSHAD (Qudorat) requirements and other UAE regulations
Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and client representatives on HSE matters
Support implementation of emergency response plans and drills
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience as an HSE Officer/Inspector in construction projects
Technical Diploma or Diploma in Health & Safety Management (or equivalent)
NEBOSH IGC certification (mandatory)
Registered in OSHAD “Qudorat” system (mandatory)
TAQA approval (preferred)
Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and standards
Strong communication and reporting skills
