We are seeking a highly qualified Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our team. This position will be based at our Ankara Head Office and will play a key role in overseeing the company's HSE operations on a local scale.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a closely related field. (Preference for postgraduate qualifications in HSE or a related field.)
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant OHS experience, ideally in civil construction industry.
• Holding internationally recognized certifications/diploma such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent (A Grade OHS certification is highly preferred; B Grade acceptable depending on experience.)
• Solid understanding of ISO 45001 systems is required. Candidates holding an ISO 45001 Internal or Lead Auditor certification will be given preference.
• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of equipment and machinery management processes, including procurement, mobilization, operation, and maintenance phases, with particular emphasis on health and safety requirements.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential;
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally and domestically on short notice. The candidate is expected to provide on-site support, audits, and consultancy to project teams across all company sites in Türkiye, as required.
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive incident investigations and leading root cause analysis initiatives.
• Strong organizational, research, and project management skills.
• Completion of military service is mandatory for male candidates.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HSE-specific software.
• Ability to foster collaboration and teamwork while effectively leading teams across multiple locations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the company’s HSE Management System in line with corporate HSE Policy and objectives.Ensure that project-specific HSE Plans, Procedures, and Policies comply with national legislation and relevant international standards.Ensure that all occupational health and safety requirements are fully integrated into high-risk operational areas, including machinery and equipment procurement, commissioning, operation, and maintenance activities. This also covers supporting logistics processes such as warehouses, storage yards, and material handling operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, concrete batching plants, lifting operations, earthmoving machinery, and heavy equipment fleets, and must be conducted in accordance with corporate procedures and legal obligations.Collaborate with senior leadership and project teams to implement HSE initiatives effectively across all project sites.Monitor and update HSE procedures in response to evolving legislation, standards, and company directives, ensuring proactive compliance and strategic alignment.Develop and lead audit and review programs across all projects. Provide expert guidance on risk management, conduct trend analyses, and deliver actionable recommendations to enhance HSE performance and mitigate emerging risks.
