We are currently looking for an HSE Manager to be employed at our Head Office located in Seyrantepe, Istanbul.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field,
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in health and safety management, preferably in the construction or other heavy industry field,
  • Having A Level OHS Expert Certification (B Level OHS certification can also be considered),
  • Solid experience for implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 in operational environment and being lead auditor for these management systems,
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal,
  • Ability to use MS Office, ERP systems and databases,
  • Effective leadership skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority and work within a matrix organization,
  • Ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Ability to communicate complex issues to various stakeholders,
  • Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team,
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills, analytical thinking, attention to detail and solution-oriented to assess complex situations and develop effective solutions,
  • Up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards,
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Providing in the implementation of HSE management systems, programs, and procedures to achieve the HSE policy deployments,
  • Leading to establish the sustainability approach and planning future sustainability programs, monitoring KPIs,
  • Embeds an exemplary health and safety culture, as well as a strong focus on the environment, throughout the respective organization,
  • Targeting in accordance with external interested parties requirements and internal interested parties,
  • Ensuring the HSE legal watch and compliance to the local, national & international HSE requirements,
  • Developing and implement the Occupational H&S Risk assessment and the Environmental Impact analysis, conducting regular risk assessments of work environments, equipment, and processes to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures,
  • Ensuring that all HSE incidents are reported and investigated through detailed root cause analysis and that corrective actions are planned and implemented,
  • Developing and delivering comprehensive health and safety training programs for employees at all levels, including new hire orientation, refresher courses, and specialized training as needed,
  • Leading investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence,
  • Regularly review H&S metrics and performance indicators to measure progress and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
