Job Identification
We are now seeking for a Health & Safety Manger to provide strategic direction and leadership for CCI’s H&S Teams/Initiatives, develop the overall strategy of continuous improvement and make sure that all essential H&S Systems are implemented as per legal, CCI, Anadolu Group & TCCC requirements across all the locations & subsidiaries in Turkey.
The main responsibilities and the specifications for the roles are shared below:
What We Expect

Ensuring the identification and setting of department wise annual occupational health and safety targets and following up these targets with country leadership to ensure continuous improvement and sustainability. Making sure that each subsidiary, location and department reaches Safety Maturity Index Targets.

Providing technical expertise and support for all facilities, departments of CCI Türkiye on regulatory compliance issues in Safety and Health. Proactively communicating country leadership about changes in legal requirements and proposing corrective actions.

Creating and maintaining program management systems to ensure that CCI Türkiye's various Safety and Health certifications, accreditations, and compliance efforts are developed and continuously improved. (Could include Registrar certifications ISO 45001, etc).

Leading the H&S Department that all CCI Türkiye subsidiaries in different locations and ensure they are ready for 3rd party Health and Safety Audits conducted by various sources (TCCC GAO KORE Audits, Anadolu Group H&S Audits, H&S legal authority audits, WRP Audits (Health and Safety) etc.).

Coaching and mentoring leadership team in H&S matters. Working with leadership team to ensure management accountability on H&S matters.

Leading incident and accident investigation for all major incidents by analyzing the root cause and ensure implementation of effective, efficient, corrective and preventive actions on a timely manner.

Leading the implementation of change management tools and techniques to facilitate change, embed HSE requirements by design and infrastructure in new locations as new manufacturing plant and facilities.

Developing safety training programs/modules. Coaching and guiding territory leaders and HSE executives to drive improvements in each site's safety process.

Continuously evaluating HSE framework and procedures in comparison to international HSE Standards. Recommending/suggesting improvements to HSE policy and procedures. Continuously seeking insights and knowledge on industry trends/ technologies. Collaborating with best-in-class FMCGs and consultants to actively work on technologies and contribute to further improve the organization’s value proposition and performance.

Developing, preparing and publishing standard centralized procedures and instructions on Occupational Health and Safety needed in the organization in light of CCI policies and KORE requirements.

Identifying the potential HSE cultural derailers and advising leadership team to develop robust action plans. Leading the safety behavior program, employee engagement action plans and continuous improvement programs related to H&S. Designing safety culture driving to emphasis key Safety Behaviors.
Qualifications

Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Environment)

Minimum 6-8 Years of functional experience with a minimum 8+ years of overall experience

Technical H&S Certification or equivalent such as NEBOSH IDIP or ASP
-
Technical H&S Legal Certification (at least A or B Class certified)

Auditing (Lead Auditor OHSAS 45001, ISO 14001: 2004)

Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal

Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
-
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with ability to lead, coach, and influence cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
-
Demonstrated strategic thinking, customer focus, action orientation, and leadership capabilities
-
Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities during high-stakes situations
-
40% travel is required.
