Job Vacancy:

HSE Manager – Road Maintenance Projects (Qatar)

We are seeking a highly experienced HSE Manager to join our team for road maintenance and infrastructure projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all Health, Safety, and Environmental activities in compliance with ASHGHAL and Qatar regulations.

Main Scope of Work

· Manage HSE and Traffic Diversion related activities for roads maintenance and infrastructure projects

· Ensure full compliance with ASHGHAL, QCS, WZGTM, and local HSE regulations

· Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans, risk assessments, and method statements

· Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations

· Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and authorities

· Lead HSE teams and promote a strong safety culture on site

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Engineering, or any related field

HSE Qualification: NEBOSH Diploma / Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety

Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, IOSH – Managing Safely, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor

Experience

· Minimum above 13+ years total experience in Health and Safety Management.

· At least 5 years as HSE Manager or Deputy HSE Manager

· Strong experience in ASHGHAL projects, specifically roads maintenance, Traffic Diversions and infrastructure

Approval

Previous ASHGHAL approval as HSE Manager is mandatory

Membership

International safety membership such as IOSH, IIRSM, or equivalent
