HSE Manager

ABOUT THE JOB

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our Project and Construction Management team in Riyadh. This opportunity lies within our Infrastructure Division and requires specific expertise in working on Civil Engineering and Transportation projects, particularly those involving roads, highways, bridges, and tunnels in urban environments.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Main descriptions of the job position:

• Assist the Project Manager in the running of the project.
• Review and approve contractor's health, safety, and environmental plans, risk assessments, and method statements to ensure compliance with legal and client requirements before starting the works.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive health, safety, and environmental training to consultant employees, including induction and safe working practices.
• Supervise a team of HSE Inspectors to ensure adherence to HSE plan at project sites, meeting all legal and client requirements.
• Supervise HSE Inspectors to ensure the implementation of health and safety arrangements at site, complying with legal and client requirements.
• Ensure HSE Inspectors follow up on contractor's incident investigation reports, ensuring identification and closure of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Schedule daily morning site visits across project sites to verify the implementation of HSE measures before work begins.
• Conduct weekly joint HSE inspections with HSE Inspectors and contractors HSE representatives, ensuring prompt closure of all corrective/preventive actions.
• Coordinate HSE meetings with the Client, IDOM project staff, and contractors.
• Conduct regular site safety visits.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Qualified with relevant HSE Qualifications. Minimum NEBOSH IGC
• Applicable Experience: over 15 years .
• Proficiency level of English language. Arabic Language is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills
• Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
• Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm.

Additional requirements:

• Transferable Iqama in case non-Saudi.
• Based in Riyadh.
• Valid SCE membership.
