JOB VACANCY: HSE MANAGER – OIL & GAS

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven HSE Manager to lead and manage all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities for our Oil & Gas operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with local regulations, international standards, and client HSE requirements, while driving a strong safety culture across all project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the HSE Management System
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations, client standards, and international HSE requirements
• Lead HSE planning, risk assessments, and hazard control strategies for Oil & Gas operations
• Manage HSE teams, including Advisors and Officers across multiple sites
• Conduct and oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and third-party auditors
• Monitor HSE performance, KPIs, and prepare management reports
• Lead emergency response planning, drills, and crisis management
• Promote and enforce a zero-harm safety culture

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, or related discipline
• NEBOSH Diploma / NEBOSH IGC (Mandatory)
• Additional certifications such as ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, OSHA, IOSH preferred
• Minimum 8–12 years of HSE experience, with 5+ years in Oil & Gas
• Strong knowledge of PTW systems, SIMOPS, HAZID, HAZOP, JSA, and RAMS
• Proven leadership and client-facing experience
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Experience working in Qatar / GCC Oil & Gas projects is highly preferred
