HSE Officer

Qualifications & Experience.

• NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification or equivalent is preferred.
• 5 years of relevant HSE experience in civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and influence safe behavior at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees, contractors, and site staff.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, training, and audits.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Promote a strong safety culture and environmental awareness across the organization.
• Support emergency response planning and conduct regular drills.
• Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental sustainability initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR4,000.00 per month
