Qualifications & Experience.
- NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / OSHA certification or equivalent is preferred.
- 5 years of relevant HSE experience in civil construction.
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and influence safe behavior at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.
- Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to employees, contractors, and site staff.
- Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, training, and audits.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Promote a strong safety culture and environmental awareness across the organization.
- Support emergency response planning and conduct regular drills.
- Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
