HSE Officer (Building Construction)

Job Description:
We are looking for an HSE Officer with 5-7 years of experience in the building construction industry. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and ensuring compliance with company and legal standards at project sites.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce site safety rules and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.
• Ensure all activities comply with company HSE policies and local regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation of incidents, inspections, and safety records.
• Report unsafe practices, conditions, or near-miss incidents to management.
• Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to promote a safe work environment.
• Support in preparing safety reports and participating in safety meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering in any descipline.

• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
• 5-7 years of HSE experience in the UAE construction sector (preferably building projects).
• NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent HSE certification is mandatory.

• Knowledge of ADOSH-SF preferably ADVETI certified

• Knowledge of ISO-45001 2018
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and site safety practices.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

• Candidate shall be available in UAE.
• UAE Driving License preferred.
