HSE Officer

As an HSE Officer, you will support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental practices across all workshop and installation sites, ensuring safe and compliant operations in a fast-paced manufacturing and onsite installation environment. You will work closely with supervisors, production teams, and installation crews to promote a strong safety culture and compliance with internal and UAE safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining site HSE policies, procedures, and work practices in accordance with company standards and UAE safety regulations.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections across workshop areas and client sites, identifying hazards, reporting unsafe conditions, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support and participate in toolbox talks, safety inductions, trainings, and orientations for new hires and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and enforce proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel onsite.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation including inspection checklists, incident records, risk assessments, and compliance reports.
  • Assist in investigations of accidents, incidents, near misses, and non-conformities; help identify root causes and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors, production leads, and installers to ensure safe work practices and risk mitigation during fabrication and field installations.
  • Monitor housekeeping, storage areas, material handling, and general site safety compliance.
  • Support in emergency preparedness activities, including drills and evacuation planning.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HSE, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (preferred).
  • NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, or equivalent HSE certification (preferred).
  • 0–2 years of experience in safety or related field (freshers with relevant certification may apply).
  • Basic understanding of HSE principles and site safety practices.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to write clear reports and deliver briefings.
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work onsite, follow instructions, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and safety standards is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
