HSE OFFICER

1. Position: HSE Officer

2. Reporting To: HSE Manager

3. Job Purpose:

Performs execution of Safety Practices and procedures which includes implementation of PHS, CEMP plans, accomplishing task analysis, evaluation of hazardous conditions, recommendation of control measures, and investigation of accidents/incident, implementation of training programs and safeguard execution of work to ensure a safe working environment. Assists Project HSE Manager / HSE Engineer in health and safety management and its necessity.

4. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist HSE Manager to prepare project safety manual, procedures etc.

• Conduct periodical safety trainings to new and existing employees.

• Maintain accident and incident records.

• Perform risk assessment at all sites. & ensure controls over the same.

• Co-ordinate safety aspects with employees, customers etc.

• Update the list of equipment and make sure they are in safe condition.

• Arrange to get and renew safety certificate for all the weight lifting equipment.

• Ensure all the equipment and vehicles Operators have valid Operator’s License.

• Update the safety billboards and index.

• Implement Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.

• Ensure effective functioning of all activities in compliance with health and safety procedures.

• Promote safety by sign boards, warning etc.

• Conduct mock drills taking into consideration the critical aspects and health hazards.

• Make sure employees are physically (medically) fit to perform the job.

5. Reports Generated:

• Conduct an Incident Investigation Report

• Daily HSE Activity Report

• Daily Observation Report

• HSE Issues and Concern Report

• Daily Supervision on site

• Maintained and registered all equipment under HSE dept.

• Investigate and reports on complaints of hazardous working conditions.

• Reports as necessary, the safety inspection of any company facility.

• Monitored the Fire drill.

• Provide HSE Emergency Plan and put on different location

6. Reports Received:

• Received Incident Report.

• Received unsafe act report.

• Received complain about project by not complying the standard procedure.

• Daily Observation Report.

• Negative feedback.

• Fire and other emergencies on the company property

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
