HSE Officer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to support health, safety, and environmental compliance at project sites. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of construction safety practices and experience working in GCC environments. The role involves monitoring safety standards, conducting inspections, and promoting a strong safety culture across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures at site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe work practices among all personnel.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions.
• Investigate incidents and near misses and prepare reports with preventive recommendations.
• Maintain safety documentation and records as required by company and project standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure safety compliance during construction activities.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of total HSE experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in construction projects.
• NEBOSH certification or equivalent recognized HSE qualification.
• Experience working in GCC countries is preferred.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of international HSE standards and construction safety practices.
• Experience conducting safety training and incident investigations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multicultural teams.
