Key Responsibilities1️ Site Safety Management
- Conduct daily site safety inspections.
- Ensure safe work practices for MEP activities (electrical works, HVAC installation, plumbing, firefighting systems, etc.).
- Monitor work at height, confined space entry, lifting operations, and hot works.
2️ Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain safety records, reports, permits, and incident logs.
- Prepare Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions.
3️ Incident Prevention & Investigation
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare reports.
- Implement corrective and preventive measures (CAPA).
4️ Training & Awareness
- Conduct safety training programs for workers and supervisors.
- Promote safety awareness across the project site.
- Ensure workers use proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
5️ Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Conduct fire drills and evacuation drills.
- Coordinate with first aiders and emergency teams.
Qualifications & Requirements / Education
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
Certifications (Preferred / Required)
- NEBOSH IGC
- IOSH
- OSHA Certification
- First Aid & Fire Fighting Training
Experience
- 3–5 years experience in MEP or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety, HVAC safety, and plumbing site hazards.
