HSE Officer

About the Role:

We are urgently seeking a qualified and experienced HSE Officer to join our team for a major Oil & Gas project with QAFAC in Qatar. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a safe working environment by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing Health, Safety, and Environmental policies in compliance with client requirements and local regulations.

The HSE Officer will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture across the project site, proactively identifying potential hazards, minimizing risks, and ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate must have hands-on Oil & Gas site experience, strong knowledge of safety procedures, and the ability to work closely with site teams, supervisors, and management to maintain high HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures at Oil & Gas project sites.
• Ensure compliance with client safety standards and Qatar regulations.
• Conduct site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
• Monitor and control Permit to Work (PTW) activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
• Coordinate with client representatives and internal departments on HSE matters.

Requirements:

• NEBOSH Certificate (Mandatory).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of PTW system, risk assessment, and HSE regulations.
• Must hold a valid QID.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Must be available for immediate joining.

• Contract Duration: 1 Year

• Salary: QAR 4,000 to QAR 4,500 per month
