HSE Officer

Role Description

StoreMotion Retail Solutions is seeking a full-time Senior HSE Officer for an on-site role based in Dubai. The Senior HSE Officer will lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) systems across retail fit-out project sites and manufacturing facilities, ensuring full compliance with ISO 45001, UAE regulations, and company standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE policies, procedures, and ISO 45001 systems
• Conduct and oversee site and factory inspections, risk assessments, and HSE audits
• Identify high-risk activities and ensure effective control measures are implemented
• Monitor critical activities including hot works, machinery operations, lifting, and working at height
• Ensure compliance with PPE requirements and safe work practices
• Lead accident, incident, and near-miss investigations; prepare root cause analysis and corrective action plans
• Deliver and oversee HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and advanced safety training programs
• Review and approve risk assessments, method statements, permits, and MSDS
• Coordinate closely with project managers, production teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure HSE compliance
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, client, consultant, and authority requirements
• Lead and support internal and external ISO 45001 audits and management reviews
• Mentor and guide junior HSE staff and promote a strong safety culture across all operations
• Prepare HSE reports, KPIs, and compliance dashboards for management review

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field
• NEBOSH IGC (mandatory); NEBOSH Diploma is an advantage
• Minimum 7+ years of HSE experience, with strong exposure to Retail Fit-Out / Manufacturing
• Proven experience managing ISO 45001 systems and audits
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities
