We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across our operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, minimizing risks, and maintaining safe working conditions for all employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
Visit and manage multiple worksites to ensure HSE compliance and safe operations.
Ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and company standards.
Identify hazards and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
Conduct safety inductions, training sessions, and toolbox talks.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare reports.
Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports.
Coordinate emergency response drills and safety audits.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
Additional Responsibilities:
Conduct regular site visits (day & night) and deliver Toolbox Talks (TBTs) at all major sites.
Investigate all site incidents, report findings to management, and implement effective control measures.
Maintain TPC logs (Forklift Operators, Fire Wardens, First Aiders) and ensure timely renewal of certifications.
Follow up with Team Leaders to ensure weekly TBTs are conducted consistently.
Attend and contribute to monthly meetings (Mess, Camp, Team Leaders, and Transport) with relevant safety inputs.
Report all unsafe acts and unsafe conditions to management and ensure proper closure of corrective actions.
Maintain and regularly update the HSE noticeboard at camp facilities.
Conduct camp inspections and coordinate with Camp Administrators to implement corrective actions.
Provide HSE induction training for all new employees.
Coordinate and support all medical-related concerns, including guidance and follow-ups.
Prepare and assist with all Health & Safety documentation as required by management.
Prepare and share safety alerts and awareness posters across communication channels (e.g., WhatsApp groups).
Submit monthly reports to management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE, preferably in facility management or manpower services.
Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and training skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple sites.
