Role Health and Safety Officer

Location : Hatta Dubai, UAE

Job Description :

Maintain regulatory compliance by implementing Dubai Municipality procedures.

Development and implementation HSEQ standard across multiple facility management operations (Includes HACCP management system).

Monitor All departments to ensure compliance with QHSE policy and regulations.

Conduct routine site inspections, audits and risk assessment for FM activities.

Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, Civil Defense, and client standards.

Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, and implements corrective and preventive actions.

Deliver HSE induction, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness training Especially for the construction departments.

Maintain HSE reports, inspection, records, permits, and compliance documentation.

Support managements in achieving client HSE KPIs and zero LTI targets.

Ensuring the aim and objectives of HSE policy are achieved.

Coordinating and guiding All facility manager in implementing HSE Plan.

Development of safety documents such as Risk assessment, Safety manual and procedures and participation in implementation of safety management program.

Taking corrective actions/ suggesting control measures for identified risk or hazard and planning the requirements such as first aid, firefighting and safety appliances well in advance and arranging to get the same at site.

Preparation and implementation of training plan for multiple facilities.

Requirements

Experience as safety officer.

In depth knowledge of legislation( e.g. OSHA/EPA/NEBOSH) and procedures.

Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices

Experience in writing reports and policies for health and safety

Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics

Proficient in MS Office; Working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus

Outstanding organizational skills

Diligent with great attention to detail

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics

BSc/BA in safety management, engineering or relevant field is preferred

Certificate in occupational health and safety

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED4,000.00 per month
