Job Summary
The HSE Officer is responsible for implementing and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. The role involves conducting inspections, risk assessments, safety training, incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to company, client, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and company HSE standards.
- Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and high-risk activities.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE awareness training.
- Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain HSE records, reports, statistics, and documentation.
- Participate in emergency preparedness programs, drills, and response activities.
- Support environmental management initiatives, including waste management and pollution prevention.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- NEBOSH IGC certification (preferred).
- IOSH Managing Safely certification (preferred).
- Additional certifications such as OSHA, First Aid, Fire Safety, or ISO 45001 Internal Auditor are advantageous.
- 3–5 years of relevant HSE experience in construction, oil & gas, facilities management, manufacturing, or industrial projects.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
