HSE Officer Construction

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE / SHE Officer with minimum 5 years of UAE construction experience to join our team in Dubai. The candidate must have strong knowledge of construction safety practices, UAE HSE regulations, and international safety standards.

The ideal candidate must hold NEBOSH certification and IOSH Managing Safely, with proven experience managing health, safety, and environmental compliance on construction sites.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in UAE construction projects (Mandatory)
• Must have NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)
• IOSH Managing Safely certification required
• Strong experience in high-rise building or infrastructure construction projects
• Excellent knowledge of UAE safety regulations and construction safety standards
• Experience implementing Permit to Work (PTW), Risk Assessment, and Method Statements
• Ability to conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and site inductions
• Immediate availability or ability to join ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies on construction sites.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and review Risk Assessments, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Method Statements.
• Ensure strict compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems for high-risk activities.
• Monitor working at heights, lifting operations, scaffolding, excavation, and confined space activities.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and safety awareness training for workers and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain proper HSE documentation, inspection reports, and safety records.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and client HSE representatives regarding safety compliance.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety equipment at all times.
